What would be the title of the daughter of a princess by marriage?

Also, what would be the title if the daughter of the princess by marriage was from a previous marriage? Would she be given one? What would be the title of the daughter of a princess by marriage?
The title of a daughter of a princess by marriage is entirely dependant on whether that daughter's father transmitted titles to her or if the daughter's mother had titles which could transfer to her.

A few scenarios:

1) The princess by marriage is married to the father of her daughter, which means the father is the prince. The daughter would most likely be a princess if she was born after her parents were married and if there are no other restrictions on the marriage.

2) The princess by marriage is not married to the father of her daughter, but to a prince from whom she has her title. Her daughter, at the very least, is ';Miss'; unless *her* father had been titled or unless she is granted a title in her own right. By default though, she gains no titles.

3) The princess by marriage is also a sovereign princess or queen in her own right then her daughter would be titled regardless of who her father or step-father is. For instance, Queen Victoria became a princess by marriage... A princess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, although she was already queen. Pretend she married very shortly after becoming queen to a commoner unhindered and became pregnant then was widowed and married Albert. Her daughter, if she had one, would carry rank from her mother. All of Victoria's children were by Albert though (she hadn't married before Albert) and had titles from both of their parents... Prince(ss) of the UK from Victoria and Prince(ss) of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke/Duchess in Saxony from Albert.

This last scenario is the kind of situation that will happen with Caroline, Princess of Hanover and Hereditary Princess of Hanover when she becomes Princess of Monaco, if her brother has no legitimate children. Her children by her first marriage will take rank and titles from her but will hold none by their stepfather the Prince of Hanover. What would be the title of the daughter of a princess by marriage?
One would assume that the daughter of a princess by marriage would be the daughter of a prince by birth, so, princess or duchess, depending on where the father was in line for the throne, and in some instances, according to the country and their laws or accession.

to your second question, that would depend on the mood of the monarch. No set laws that I know of, though probably Lady.
A princess of where? Britain? France? Uganda? Bhutan? All those countries have royal families and princes. However, since you asked the question in English let's assume you were asking about British royalty:

A ';princess by marriage'; is by definition the wife of a prince. Any children of that marriage will, by definition, be princes and princesses. (Thus, if Charles and Diana had had daughters as well as two sons, of course they would have been princesses; and the two daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are princesses.)

If a the wife of a prince has children by an earlier marriage, those children have no right to any royal title, or any kind of title at all unless their father had one. It is certainly not customary for the sovereign to hand out titles of nobility to such children.
these things depend on the country. But take Britain for example: someone who became a Princess by marriage would be the wife of a prince (the son or grandson of a British sovereign.) She usually would be given the style ';Her Royal Highness'; (unless they got divorced). IF he were a peer she would be known by the title of his senior peerage (the top level peerage title he has, so if he is HRH the Duke of ____, she would be HRH The Duchess of _____.

If he were the heir to the throne she would be HRH The Princess of Wales.

If he were some royal prince who was not a peer (did not have another title like Duke or Earl, but was just known as HRH Prince John of (%26amp; name of his father's senior peerage) then his wife would be HRH Princess John of (same)

The daughter of the son of a Sovereign is also a Princess

The daughter of the grandson of a Sovereign ( therefore the great-granddaughter of a Sovereign) has the style and title of a daughter of a Duke, so she would be for example Lady Mary.

the stepdaughter of a Prince would only have a title if she already had one already or if the current Sovereign decided to give her one but I dont know of that happening and I dont think she'd be a Princess.
Depends on which royal family she belonged to and who she married?
Usually, royal titles and styles are not carried by the female-line, and this tradition is followed by many European royal houses. ';Princess by marriage'; are only granted with a ';courtesy title';, which is like a loan, and if she was to divorce, she would be stripped from her titles and styles. Princess by marriage does not have the authority to give her own children titles and styles.

If her daughter was from her first marriage by a commoner, her daughter will remain a ';commoner with no titles and styles.'; If her daughter was by birth from her royal marriage, she will receive titles and styles from her royal father accordingly.

Note: Even if the ';Princess by marriage'; held titles by right (inherited through her father), she still cannot pass them onto her children. A great example would be Charlotte Casiraghi who's mother is Princess Caroline, Hereditary Princess of Monaco. Charlotte was born without titles and styles since her father was a commoner, and she remains titleless even after her mother's third marriage to HRH Ernst August, Prince of Hanover. However, Charlotte's half sister is titled HRH Princess Alexandra of Hanover, and she bares no titles from her mother.
She would have no title unless she was directly related to royalty.Bloodlines, you know, must be kept pure.
