Should you congratulate someone on their marriage/wedding which was months ago?

If someone you don't know very well (an acquaintance) who you haven't seen in a while got married 3-6 months ago and you just saw them, should you congratulate them on it? If yes, what's the most appropriate way to say it?Should you congratulate someone on their marriage/wedding which was months ago?
If you haven't seen them since before then, go ahead. If you weren't there you couldn't have given best wishes, so give them now. They should be happy that you know and remember that they got married. I think it would be very kind and appropriate.

Sure, if you haven't seen them since it happened. Just go up to them and say something like, ';hey I heard that you recently got married, congratulations.';
If you haven't seen them, yes I would think it is appropriate to congratulate them.





I would just say ';hey congratulations on your marriage';
