This is a non-issue. There are all kinds of families, and they all deserve to be treated with respect. Supporting gay marriage (I actually have not heard Obama take a stand either way on this) will not effect school curriculum. Also, the decision to allow or disallow gay marriage has been officially given to each state to determine.

If you choose for your children to beleive that Marriage is between a man and woman only, then that is the surroundings they must be raised in. absolutely. i teach my children to accept others and not to hate. why should i want to interfere with someone else's life? if they want to get married, it has no effect on me. however, a society that hates people that are minorities and discriminates against them does effect us all.

I took my children out of public school and homeschooled them. What they teach and focus on in public schools makes me sick. Find a good private school or homeschool. Children see and learn enough crud from the television...don't let the public school system poison their brains also.
