Some advocates seem to cite evidences of divorce, adultery, etc. with glee. Are they hoping traditional marriage fails? Or just pointing out that it often has?





And are there any reliable statistics regarding the comparative ';success'; of same-sex relationships, compared to heterosexual ones? I actually read a People magazine I think it was at the doctor's office about 3 months ago, which still makes this valid: It said that 68% of all homo-sexual couples break-up and then get new partners. I don't know if anyone has seen The Band Keeps Marching On, but HIV/AIDS in the U.S. was started by homo-sexual couples. Advocates for them could want traditional marriage to fail, but even if they don't want traditional marriage to fail, if it becomes legal throughout the entire U.S., traditional marriage will fail. It has be proven that every chance our nation gets to become more corrupt, It'll take it, and something pure and untainted, like traditional marriage, takes a beating, or even dies. Alcohol, drugs, Same-sex marriage, divorce for the stupidest reasons: all these things have taken a toll. Abortion doesn't help either, but I won't get started on that one. Now, some of you might think that I'm a homo-phobe or a gay-hater, but I'm not. I don't dispise the person, I dispise the act (which I consider to be a sin.). Lot lived in Sodom, one the cities in the Pentapolis made up Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim, and Bela. When some visitors (two angels) came to tell Lot to leave the city (for God was going to distroy it for the people's wickedness), Lot offered them to stay for a while and they accepted. Later on, some men from the town came and asked Lot to send the visitors out so they could rape them. Lot says no and offers his daughters. They refuse the daughters and start to forcefully enter Lot's house. The angels strike the men with blindness, and Lot and his family (save for his wife, who is transformed into a pillar of salt for looking back at the city when specifically told not to) escape while God destroys the cities with hail, fire and brimstone. gay marriage goes against traditional marriage in every way, and God designed traditional marriage. No, I am in a traditional marriage but support gay marriage. I do point out to people who use the sanctity argument, that marriage in this country has a very poor success rate and to argue that there is anything gays could possibly do to make it worse is foolish.

Divorce rates are lower in those countries in general anyways, but the gay marriages dont have any more or less problems than hetrosexual marriages.





The most telling statistic to look at in marriage success rate has to do with the economical situation of the family. The lower the standard of living is, the more likely it is the marriage will not last.
Same sex partners need to find their own term for their union, 'marriage'


is the term used for the union of a man and a woman and has been since the beginning of civilization. It's kinda like someone else claiming the shoes that you know are yours! How does the person performing the ceremony address the new couple, ';you are now husband and husband, or wife and wife...';, sounds sort of odd, doesn't it? I'm not against their union, that's their business, but using 'marriage' to term it sort of seems misconstrued!
All same-sex marriage advocates really advocate is same sex sex. They don't care at all about anything else. If you've never enjoyed the real thing, trust me: these people are, in the traditional sense of the word, insane.
