Marrying a woman from Overseas. Possible to turn a visitors visa into a marriage visa?

She's from Thailand. We've been dating for around for 6 months now, as far as being 'together in person' goes. I know a visitors visa has a 6 month duration. That would be perfect for time to make a decision, and if she could come here on one of those it'd be great to have the option to turn it into a permanent residence later on. Or would she have to go home first and re apply?Marrying a woman from Overseas. Possible to turn a visitors visa into a marriage visa?
You did not say which country you live in. If it is the US, then the average visitors visa is for 90 days. If she applies for longer stating she is wanting to stay with her American boyfriend it will be denied. Also if the agents at PO discover she is here to stay with her boyfriend they won't let her in. The US, and the UK, both have unwritten immigration policy to deny entry to any single person who is seeking entry to visit/stay will another single person as a romantic relationship.

If this indeed for the US I can share some advice with you, but I refuse to do it anymore on an open forum. So email me if you would like to.

If there are no skeleton in the cupboard ..and you have no pre-intent to do it .its possible

But you have pre-intent so thats out

so its K-1 fiancee visa

If its for USA, then yes its possible to marry %26amp; apply for adjustment of status.

If its for European Union country then nearly impossible to marry, people on visitor's visa are not allowed to marry in European Union (a lot of documentation needed).
you will need a k1 visa also to get it you will have to go to her place an show proof that you have met in person
Ye its possible...
