How many people ACTUALLY wait until marriage?

A lot of people say to wait until marriage to have sex, but I was wondering how many people actually do.

Say yes if you waited and no if you didn't. You can tell me if you are glad or you regret it and your age if you want. Thanks! How many people ACTUALLY wait until marriage?
I didn't wait until marriage, however I am still with the person I lost my virginity to.

I don't regret doing it with him, but I do regret how young we did it. So many bad things could have happened, pregnancy, breaking up, etc that sometimes I think I should have waited til I was at least a little older and more knowledgeable

But... the past is the past. How many people ACTUALLY wait until marriage?
It's less than 10% and that's not even taking into account those who are virgins when they marry who get divorced. You can abstain for personal reasons and that's great and you don't get pregnant or STDs, but you could also find out on the wedding night that you're sexually incompatible and that can be enough of a deal breaker to warrant divorce. It's not an easy question and the pros and cons need to be weighed over individually.
The secular world we now live in portrays it as a consequence- free, passion and fun-ridden innocent experience. Well it's not. It is an emotional and physical commitment that many overlook. God tells us to not conform to the ways of this world, and I intend to keep my set of moral and religious values that are lacking in my peers. Call me prude, call me intolerant, I really don't care. I would rather be righteous in the eyes of the Lord than worthy to the **** next door. And those who say ';live or youre only young once'; I say there are millions of ways to enjoy your youth than attempt such an act. It's stupid. Save yourself till marriage. If your partner loves you as much as he/she says, he/she will support your decision and follow it on his/her part. If he doesn't respect your purity, he is not worthy. Plus, won't sex be that much more enjoyable on your wedding night when both bride and groom are having it for the first time? It would be much more exciting and passionate. So wait, do not conform to the ungodly world around us. Your body is a temple and you should respect it.
lol,,, i waited,, but that was 15 years ago [i was 19], these days sex is more out there, harder to avoid

back then i was happy i waited,, i get days now [as a bored housewife] that wishes i was a bit more of a ho and had sex with other people,,, as now im married and will only have ever had one partner,,, so if ur young and reading this,, enjoy ur life, experiment, have safe sex ofcourse,, but u dont need to wait, dont b a boring person like me xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
not many and to be honest they near enough have a kid before marriage. i would respect my partener if he thought about not having sex untill after marriage and i believe i would properly value him more, i didnt and i do sometimes regret that know that my white dress wont be telling the truth as i walk down the aisle.

do what you think is best hunny, and if he loves you he wont mind ?
yes I did and am proud of that..only my dirty cheating ex wife was being banged all over town because I was putting unreasonable stress on our relationship by being celibate!..I new nothing of this until she dumped me because I was inexperienced sexually and couldn't satisfy her primal needs..so dint hold off it only brings grief and incidentally I have never been able to keep it up with any woman since,my confidence has been shattered by this callous hussy stole my heart then my manhood..
not many from what I hear...I married my highschool sweetheart and don't regret a thing.

As long as you are dating for a while and aren't 15 or 16 years old (don't know enough yet) then I don't see any problem for a responsible 18 or 19 year old to start to experiment.
I waited. Mixed feelings about waiting, everyone now days says you should not, but why should I listen to other people? Just because something is popular does not mean it is right.
I didn't. I was 18. I'm glad I didn't wait, I enjoyed my experiences and the memories I have.
My soon to be fianc茅 are waiting. (we will be19 %26amp; 22) My sister and her husband waited and they were 23 %26amp; 25. I actually have a number if friends that did wait
No I did not.
LOL, no one.
