It shouldn't be treated any different that heterosexual marriage. Love is love, regardless of gender. =)What is your opinion on homosexual marriage?
I believe gay people should be allowed to get into any kind of relationship they want, but I don't believe it should be called marriage.
Marriage has always been symbolic of society saying ';Now society officially views you as a couple.'; Marriage is just a ceremony and a piece of paper. It's really about society deeming two people to be a couple.
Gay Marriage isn't really asking for a right, it's asking for society to change, and to change what it views as a couple. It's asking society to view a man and a man as exactly as valid and equal as a man and a woman. I don't think society will ever be ready to say that both of those are equal. One of them is biologically natural and the other is the result of some hormonal issue we don't fully understand.
I don't think the two will ever be exactly as valid as one another.
I do think gay people should be able to enter into whatever relationship they want and pursue happiness in whatever way they choose, and be treated well and equal society, but I think it should be called a Civil Union.
Let them do what they want as long as nobody gets hurt (physically). Why would you want to infer with happiness between two people, keeping in mind how hard it is to find someone you feels the same way about you. ITS OK TO BE DIFFERENT!
It is in some regions.
In the US? Yes it should be. It is the land of the free, but apparently only to white christians.
Yes, legal benefits are good.
For, obviously.
I'm amazing.
I am a Catholic and a firm believer against it. It doesn't affect me directly, but I believe that marriage should be between man and women only.
