Can alimony be awarded if a marriage contract requires only one time compensation?

I got married in India and signed a marriage contract that says I have to pay $20,000 in case of a divorce. Right now I'm a citizen of US and my wife lives here as well (green card holder, 2 years in US). I would like to get divorced preferably here. Would I have to pay alimony even tough the contract specifies rules of divorce (one time compensation)? We have no kids. Would it better to get divorced in India? Can alimony be awarded if a marriage contract requires only one time compensation?
the problem is

chances are that contract would not be legal enforceable here stateside

so you might be very well better off divorcing here, since that contract was performed in India
